Holy Name Student Council

HNS Student Council is composed on two representatives from each grade. The representatives are selected by their peers and serve a one year term of office. Currently there are 16 Council members.

Objectives:

Ø    To be the voice for any concerns the student body might have,

Ø    To raise social awareness

Ø    To involve the school in as many activities as possible, and

Ø    To undertake and complete one project per month during the course of the school year.

Pending Projects:

Ø    Red Ribbon Week to promote Drug Awareness,

Ø    Thanksgiving Food Drive for Holy Name’s Pantry, and

Ø    A Giving Tree for a local organization.

Once these projects are completed the council will decide on what will be done during the spring.
